We are much saddened by Rod's passing but our grief is softened by beautiful memories of his devotion to his wife Pam, his children Joseph and Helen and his grandchildren Piran, Aaron and Elowen and by the love and respect that was shown to him by all his family and friends. We will miss the warm welcome he gave to us whenever we visited Cornwall. Rod introduced us to the beaches of Godrevy and the walks along the cliff top paths looking down at the playing seals. Rod's knowledge of the area was unsurpassed and his enthusiasm for his Cornish family history inspirational. He has gone after a difficult struggle but we will continue to remember the good times with love and respect. Harold, Margaret, Richard and Alison

Evarné and Terry Journet

This is in memory of our dear friend Rod. We had known him for nearly 50 years. I, Evarné worked with him at Sunair Holidays in the sixties, he was my boss, my friend and was such good fun. We have had many good holidays together with our children as well as all our friends in the following years and we have all grown old together. Our thoughts are with Pam his wife, Joe and Helen his children and Piran, Aaron and Elowen his grandchildren. He will leave a big hole in our lives and we are going to miss him so much. Love you Rod, always and ever. Evarné Terry Chris and Tony xxxx
